When will it be available?
Total War: ATTILA will be available in 2015. We will publish further details about the in-game content within the next few months on our official Facebook, Twitter and forums, so please keep an eye on those!
On which platform will it be available?
PC & Mac
How is Creative Assembly working on Total War: ATTILA? Is it the same team working on both Total War: ROME II and Total War: ATTILA or you use different teams?
There are five project teams at Creative Assembly working on Total War titles, the ATTILA project team is one of them.
Will Total War: ATTILA be localised? If yes, in which languages (texts & voices)?
We will be confirming this in the near future.
Will there be key features from previous Total War games that were missing in ROME II such as the familly tree?
There will be features that were not seen in the previous version of Total War, there will also be features not seen in any other Total War titles; please check the released information for more details and stay tuned to our forums, Facebook, Twitter and Rally Point for more coming soon.
Can we expect features from Total War: ATTILA to be transferred to Total War: ROME II in the near future (I.e. family tree, skill tree, better textures and camera on the campaign map, etc…)?
At the point, there is no intention to directly do that. However, the New Content Team will continue to work on ROME II.
Will you support Total War: ATTILA like you did with Total War: ROME II (i.e. updates, FreeLCs, DLCs)?
Much as we announced before Total War: ROME II's launch, we intend to continue supporting Total War: ATTILA post-launch with additional content.
Will there be a retail version available?
Yes, though please check with your favourite retailer for availability.
Is this the Total War: ROME II we should have had?
This is a different game, in a different setting.
Could we call this Barbarian Invasion 2?
You may call it what you like, to us it's Total War: ATTILA.
Will I need Total War: ROME 2 to play Total War: ATTILA?
Total War: ATTILA is a new, stand-alone game. You won't need Total War: ROME II, or any other previous Total War game, to install and to play Total War: ATTILA.
Should I upgrade my PC to run Total War: ATTILA even if I could run ROME II smoothly?
We would suggest you to wait for the minimum and recommended configurations to be published before proceeding with any hardware or software upgrades.
What will be the minimum and recommended configurations?
Those details have yet to be confirmed. Please keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and official forum for future updates.
Will the general gameplay be different to Total War: ROME II (basic control, unit selection, interface)?
Players who have played ROME II (or previous Total War titles) should recognise the core gameplay of Total War: ATTILA pretty quickly. But there will be interesting new features to test you.
What sort of game modes can we expect (single player, multiplayer, custom mode, etc…)?
At this time, we can only confirm there will be a single player campaign mode. Please keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and official forum for future updates.
